AMC1100: Latch-up?

$

Part Number: AMC1100

We have an application with thermocouple and AD8495 and buffer on isolated side. With no probe, AMC1100 sees 1.5V differential with pin 3 on floating ground.

We expect fully saturated positive output, but occasionally see fully saturated negative output. Both supplies look good. Nothing appears to be outside range on data sheet. This appears to persist for some time (minutes typically).

Is there a required sequence for the 2 supplies?

Is there anything else known about spurious phase inversions when significantly over driven?

RCV420: Is series output connection possible to achieve 0-10V output?

Part Number: RCV420

We have an application where we need to be able to supply either a 0-5V or 0-10V process signal from a 4-20mA input.  The question is whether 2 RVC420 outputs could be connected in series to produce a 0-10V output.  The plan would be to connect the Rcv Com pin of the first device to the Rcv Out pin of the second device.  The 0-10V would then be available between the Rcv Out pin of the first device and the Rcv Com pin of the second device.  On the input side, the CT pin from the first device would be connected to the +IN pin of the second device and the 4-20mA input would run through both devices from the +IN pin of the first device to the CT pin of the second device.

This appears possible, but the proper Rcv, Ref and Com connections are where assistance would be appreciated.  We desire to use +15V & -15V supply voltages.  We then plan to employ a relay to switch between making the 0-5V or 0-10V output available.

Part Number: LMH6526

Hi Team,

Our customer needs to know the temperature dependencies for output current of LMH6526. If available, the response between currents set and output in line with different temperature values would be preferred.

Do we have this data characterized for LMH6526?

Thank you very much.

INA3221: I2C Level Shift?

Part Number: INA3221

Hello team,

Can INA3221 be directly tied to a 1.8V I2C bus if the supply voltage for INA3221 is 3.3V? I would think not and a level shifter like TXS0102 or PCA9306 is needed, but wanted to make sure for customer design.

Thanks!

WEBENCH® Tools/OPA177: excite a coil with an Arm in a Iron Core 90Hz.

Part Number: OPA177

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Dear designers,

I would like to excite a 100mH coil within a iron core so that it oscillates. with the iron core the coil is 100mH.

from a microprocessor aka teensy3.2 I use a true DAC 12Bit, which is a shifted signal 1.65V offset +1.65V output Swing.

however this has to be transformed into a 12 till 15Volt output swing without offset at 80Hz.

the idea is to use 4 Opamps:

1 Opamp for filtering MFB with amplification.

2 negative Offset

3 2 Opamps in Bridge configuration (non inverting and inverting to drive the coil).

the maximum current that is flowing through the coil is 18mA AC. (small coil)

Questions:

how do I calculate such a circuit comprised out of multiple opamps?

Can I do this from a single supply and how? are these the right opamps, and how would I know that they are right for this application?

further applications would include clean signals own made PCBs data processing at 16-20Bit.

INA199: Is the Rshunt can be use together with other deivces?

Part Number: INA199

Hi Team,

My customer INA199 as solution in their application, and having a question regrading Rshunt,

their application having another load switch would also needed current sense which wanted to use the same Rshunt together with INA199,

is this Ok for this using case? If it's ok , does this will influence the sensing accuracy of the INA?

Hi

Can You help me check the Vos unit (mV), is it correct? Should it be uV?

Need to check of place as below

Page 12 of Figure 4, Figure 5, Figure 6.

If the unit is wrong, can you update a new datasheet for my customer, thanks.

Part Number: LM7171

Hi team,

Could you please clarify the absolute maximum rating for each input pin of LM7171?

It is necessary to design the input protection for LM7171.

Furthermore, if you could suggest the recommendable schematic to protect LM7171 input from EOS damage with respect to gain flatness in Av=+2 as high frequency as possible, it should be appreciated!

Hi,

can anyone recomment an INAxxx shunt monitor fur current sensing in range of
power supply: 2.7 to 5V

Which value for the shunt would be apprperiate and is there a solution with a integrated shunt?
I tried already the INA250A4 but the output with 5V supply has a high offset.

Thanks Flo

Opamp Slew rate for Non periodic signals

Hi Team,

May I know how to determine opamp slew  rate for nonperiodic signals.

Example: Assume we generated a pulse of 20uS in length on a uC pin that go into an op-amp in a buffer configuration.

What is the minimum slew rate required to reproduce the waveform at the output of the buffer without any distortion? What is a good rule of thumb to use?

Regards

Hari

THS4303: The Amplifier is not working when the input is sine wave and the swing is less!

Part Number: THS4303

Hi,

We are using THS4303 in one of our product as an amplifier to amplify the Oscillator output--But we are not able to see any output after THS4303.

The oscillator part number is ASTX-13-D-52.000MHz-I05-T, However in previous revision of the same board, we were using a different oscillator where in THS4303 was working fine.

What is the issue here? it will be of great help if we get some pointers!

Attached the schematics of Rev1 and Rev2 boards.

Hey,

I have a customer using theabove part and it seems to be overheating. They are trying to figure out what the 88ER stands for - is it  a lot code. I couldn't find any documents explaining the part markings.

Cheers
