LMH6722: About Feed back resistor

Part Number: LMH6722

Hi,

The data sheet contains the following information.

I have a question about this content.

1.When used as a buffer, the data sheet states that a 600Ω feedback resistor is required for stable operation.
  On the other hand, Is this resistor required when used as a buffer for unused circuit treatment?

2.What is the operational impact of connecting an unused circuit buffer without a feedback resistor?

3.Is it necessary to connect a resistor between GND for non-inverting input?

Hi how to choose the value ofCD in the real circuit as the following

The data sheet says that CD indicates the diode capacitance. Then, which capacitors are diode capacitors in the following circuit, or how to select the value of CD in the following circuit?

Thanks very much

XTR117: Minimum input resistor value

Part Number: XTR117

Good morning,

We are designing a new product using the XTR117 IC.
Everything works as intended but I recently read this line from "Application Report SBOA107B Using the XTR115 with the PGA309 to Generate 4mA to 20mA Output" : a minimum value of R2 = 10kΩ should be used to insure the XTR115 stability.

Here is the related schematic :

I do not see any mention of minimum value for this resistor in the XTR datasheet and since we are using a similar schematic I wonder if this information applies to the XTR117 and is up to date?
Our prototype design is using a 1k resistor and we do not have any stability issue at the moment but should we consider redesigning that part for higher resistor value ? Is there a true risk by using 1k input resistor value that could leads to instability in some boards (I know that this change seems trivial but it will imply modification of our PCB and then internal cost/delay before production)?

Best regards.

INA286: Quiescent Current and no power supply conditions

Part Number: INA286

Hi Guys

Our customer will use our INA286  as high side current sense. Typical common mode voltage is 48V. But we have some questions:

1. If we power off our device, but the main power voltage is high voltage 48V. So at this no power supply conditions, do you think whether it will damage our device when power up INA286 or operation?

2. If we have no power supply, how much quiescent current will our device have? 900uA? 500uA? or lower?

Thanks

Part Number: OPA858DSGEVM

Hi, an urgent help request.

We have purchased an Evaluation Module for OPA858 amplifier, OPA858DSGEVM several days ago, and have tried

the module to test it for our OPA858 pulse amplification circuit design for our product.

However, the module doens not work at all. we have found the circuit uses R3 zero ohm resistor connected

in parallel with the differential input terminal to the ground. That means resistor R3 shorts out the RF input signalm and

consequently the module doe not output any siganl waveform to eh oscilloscope at the output connector.

Why did you short the input terrminal by R3. How can we test the moduel? Please explain the situation. Is it an mistake?

Do we have to remove the resistor R3, which is also very small and thus even very difficult to remove it.

Please give me immediate answer. I don't understandwhy this happened.

Regards,

Ki-Chang Lee

P.S. My collegue Iksoo Choi already have asked this matter to you on Friday. But still he did not get answer from TI.

LM7372: Tina Simulation indicates 18V p-p on the output, but getting 17V on my PCB

Part Number: LM7372

Hi,

Posting this Q on behalf of my customer. Please reach out to me internally once the post is assigned for the schematic/waveforms.

"I am using two LM7372 OPAMP to drive a 50 ohms line.

The attached TINA simulation indicates I should be able to get 18Vp-p on the output.

But in my PCB I get only about 17V. The positive going wave reaches only up to +8V. The negative going wave is okay as it reaches -9V.

What would be causing this?"

Thanks,
Lauren

LT1013-DIE: Low temp performance?

$

Part Number: LT1013-DIE

I have a customer troubleshooting a design that0 uses the TI LT1013-DIE.  They are operating the amplifier in an non-inverting configuration with a gain of 2.  They are experiencing distortion on the output at -55C.  It resembles crossover distortion, however it is not occurring at the zero crossing.

The operating frequency is 3.2KHz, the output voltage is 2Vrms full scale.  The supply voltages are +/-5VDC.

Do you have any insight into this behavior?  Since the die are only tested at 25C, are there temp guardbands in place to ensure known good die at 25C are functional and in spec across temp?

Thanks.

BUF634A: Current-voltage conversion using A

Part Number: BUF634A

Hi.
I am using DAC7811EVM board.

I want to convert the current output of DAC7811 to voltage.

So, I selected and used BUF634a.
I already know that this is wrong way, and the right way is to select another amp.
Apart from that, I would like to know the following:

What is wrong with BUF634a to perform current-voltage conversion as shown in the figure1 below?
When actually measured, the output deviated from the desired voltage as shown in the figure2 below.

Figure1:

Figure2:Measurement result

Figure 3 shows the configuration of DAC7811EVM for reference.
With this configuration, the output is almost ideal.

Figure3:the configuration of DAC7811EVM

Perhaps I don't understand the difference between a buffer and an amplifier.
Please tell me because I want to know as knowledge.

TPS60150: TPS61050 setting inquiry

Part Number: TPS60150

 目前的設定為:
        Flash on
        TPS61050_Data_00 = 0x90;
        TPS61050_Data_01 = 0x96;
        TPS61050_Data_02 = 0x00;
        TPS61050_Data_03 = 0xDF;
        FLASH_SYNC  = High

        Flash off
        TPS61050_Data_00 = 0x10;
        TPS61050_Data_01 = 0x16;
        TPS61050_Data_02 = 0x00;
        TPS61050_Data_03 = 0xDF;
        FLASH_SYNC  = Low
目前狀況是正常的,想跟您確認設定是否正確?

另外先前的設定:
        Flash on
        TPS61050_Data_00 = 0x90;
        TPS61050_Data_01 = 0x96;
        TPS61050_Data_02 = 0x00;
        TPS61050_Data_03 = 0x60;
        FLASH_SYNC  = High

        Flash off
        TPS61050_Data_00 = 0x10;
        TPS61050_Data_01 = 0x16;
        TPS61050_Data_02 = 0x00;
        TPS61050_Data_03 = 0x60;
        FLASH_SYNC  = Low
狀況是很微亮,且再將TPS61050_Data_03 設成0xDF也無法更新狀態,除非完全斷電。
請問這個現象正常嗎? 還是設定上流程需修改能將TPS61050 setting reset ?

INA233: Use in vacuum

Part Number: INA233

Hi everyone,

I am working in a project that will be sent to space and we have to test it first in vacuum.
I am an electronic engineer and my knowledge in materials is limited.
One of our engineers raised the question about outgasing in vacuum and that we might need to use ceramic components instead of the usual plastic ones. But the selection of those type of components is limited.
I know that a space-approved selection of components exists but we are trying to maintain the costs down plus not all of the components are easy to find/exist in a radiation approved version. We want to test the use of commercial components and have read that in some projects they have used COTS successfully.
My question is: how can we know whether a component will outgas when it is in vacuum or not?
For example, let's say we are talking about the INA233 (but this question further applies to other components).
But I am not sure how to interpret it.
How can I know if a certain component could outgas?
I hope I have explained myself properly.
Best regards,
Inigo

OPA857: LiDAR system current pulse width design

Part Number: OPA857

Hi team,

Customer is assessing their specification of their Lidar system.

Because of the current pulse width from sensor is about 5ns~10ns in their desired LiDAR system.

They want to check if OPA857 and THS4551 is enough for this application?

Is LMH32401 transimpedance amplifier avaliable now?

Is there any other suggestion about transimpedance amplifier and the paired high precision amp.?

Thank you.

XTR117: generating a negative supply from xtr117's VREG pin

Part Number: XTR117

Hello,

I am trying to generate a -2.5V supply from XTR117's VREG pin. I am using a TPS71525 with a fixed 2.5V output to generate a +2.5V from VREG pin. After then I used a TPS60400 (charge pump voltage converter)  with 1uF capacitors (Cin, Cout an Cfly) to get a -2.5V, but the circuit is not working. There's no other load other than the circuit a have described. I misured the voltage on XTR117 VREG pin and I get a value of 1.27V. It looks like that TPS60400 represents a heavy load for the regulator inside XTR117, but the typical quiescent current of TPS60400 is only 65uA.

What should be the problem ?

Can somebody help me please?

Thanks in advance.

We currently use Analog Devices (ADI) p/n OP42FZ in over 60 of our active products.  Many of these products will require RoHS 3 compliancy in the near future.  We note that ADI lists this part as NOT RoHS 3 compliant.   Also it is now listed as Not For New Designs.

What is TI's suggested RoHS 3 compliant replacment(s) for this part?

Please respond before Thu, 10-30, if possible.

Thanks!
