LMV881 Output Voltage Swing vs Load Current
OPA547 - EMI filtering.
Hi team,
A member of our sales team has asked if the OPA547 has any EMI filtering. This is one of those older Burr Brown devices and there’s no mention in the datasheet. I just wanted to double check to be sure.
Thanks,
Billy
SPIO-4 LED Lights Not Lighting Up when Plugged in via USB to PC
Hello,
I would like to know what issues could be causing this SPIO-4's D5 and D10 LED lights to light up, while the rest stay off. Is it a processor error? I am running Windows 10 for this setup, but I have plugged it into a Windows 7 computer to test, with the same result.

TLV342 Common and differential input capacitance values
Hello,
Is it possible to get the differential mode and common mode input capacitance TLV342 ?
Also is there a general tolerance on the value of the input capacity ?
Thanks
OPA197 input present before Power Rails.
Hi there,
We are using OPA197 and met some problem.
The input voltage(Vin) will be about 14.4V~19V , and V+=24V is generated from Vin.
However, in our appllication, Vin will present BEFOREpower supply, and Vin is always ON even after 24V is shut-dwon by MCU.
Will this situation damage the amplifier? A simplified sch is as below:
Thanks a lot!

OPA827 CMRR test bench in Tina-TI - changing R values change CMRR BW?
I'm trying to do some sims of CMRR of the OPA827 on Tina-TI. Below is the topology that I'm using to test the CMRR of the SPICE model:
I first do a sim with all R's set to 10K. Looks nice, pretty close to datasheet:
Then, I change all R's to 100K. Looks like this:
I was not expecting such a drastic change. The BW is much different using 100k's instead of 10k's.
Is that right? Or, could there be something wrong with the model?
If anything, I would have thought that changing from 10k's to 100k's would make things worse. I'm thinking that because the larger R could create a bigger V difference because of input currents. Or, if anything, I would think that larger R's would make the BW worse if there is any input capacitance in the model. Regardless, I can't think of many practical situations where larger R's result in wider BW.
Thoughts? Does this make sense? Something wrong with the model?
I'd attach the Tina-TI file, but I can't figure out how to do that ...
OPA2188 Long-term stability
Hello,
In the OPA2188 datasheet, there is the long-term stability specification as 4uV(typ) and there is the note (1) of "1000-hour life test at +125°C demonstrated randomly distributed variation in the range of measurement limits—approximately 4 μV".
Is this mean 4uV/1000hour(typ) ?

OPA569 as Voice coil drtiver
i am planning to use OPA569 as a voice coil driver. my driving current requirement is just 250mA. so first question can i design a circuit with OPA569 which source only 250mA current? second question is that, i have come across a design on TI called "Bridge Tied Load (BTL) V-I Converter" which used OPA569 only. can i use the same design to drive my voice coil actuator with 250mA current source? if yes then i can straight away use this design for my prototype development.
your quick help will be appreciated
thanks you
Current limit modeling in the AFE031 PSPICE model
Hi,
Does the AFE031 PSPICE model includes the current limiting feature (PA_ISET pin)?

TL081 - Not working as voltage follower
Question type: Development and troubleshooting
Description of the problem: I have connected the circuit in following way to make simple voltage follower using TL081.
Pin1- NC
Pin2- FED back to Pin 6 (Follower)
Pin3- input voltage from external (Somethimes 0.6V/ NC/ anything less than 15V)
Pin4- GND
Pin5- NC
Pin6- FED back to pin 2 (Follower)
Pin7- +15V
Pin8- NC
When my input voltage at non-inverting terminal is 0.6V, I am surprised to see output at pin 6 and inverting input at pin 2 as 14V.
I don't understand why it is not working as voltage follower?
Should we require dual supply? but datasheet says, it can operate in single supply.
What went wrong? Please help me anyone on this ASAP.
OPA2541SM impedance inconsistency
Using a multimeter on Pin 1 and 2 of OPA2541SM, the table below shows results on 3 separate units
Test Condition 1 | Test Condition 2 | Test Condition 3 | Test Condition 4
6(-Vs) | 6(-Vs) | 2(+Vs) | 2(+Vs)
1(OutB) | 5(OutA) | 1(OutB) | 5(OutA)
Pin Impedance value (?) | 200Kohm ↑ | 200Kohm ↑ | 1.2Mohm ↑ | 1.2Mohm ↑ |
Unit 1 | 321K | 319K | 1.47M | 1.51M |
Unit 2 | 290k | 217k | 1.39M | 1.25M |
Unit 3 | 301K | 310K | 19.5K | 1.4M |
I'm not sure what the "Pin Impedance value" represents... Perhaps measuring the impedance across a single pin?
Is there an explanation for the discrepancy for Unit 3, Test Condition 3?
A value of ~1.4Mohm is expected , but the result is 19.5kohm. Out of 100 pcs, 2 units had these discrepant results.
Is it simply a faulty unit, or could there be another explanation?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thank you
PGA280 inputs
If supply power to the PGA280 if off (VSN = VSP = 0V) can voltage be present on the inputs without damage. For example, if the power to the part is off and a +- 2V sine wave is present on the inputs, how will this impact the PGA280? This has happened repeatedly in some testing and the part seems to continue to function well without issues but I would like to confirm that this situation is OK.
Thanks
[AMC1200-Q1] Why it does fix gain 8?
Hi Team,
I'd like to know why AMC1200-Q1 fixed gain 8. do you have special reason?
Other competitor also have same fixed gain 8.
please let me the reason.

opa 827 amplification
Hi everyone,
I built an ac coupled non inverting amplifier for detecting input signal 2 mV. Problem is I can see output voltage when I didn't give any input voltage.Only I give supply voltage +-15 V. What is the reason of it and how can I overcome this problem?

MTBF/FIT value for LMC6061
Hello,
I would like to know the FIT value for LMC6061 Op-Amp. Most TI parts have this data available in the web but not this one.
Note: I tried checking the tool provided: http://www.ti.com/quality/docs/estimator.tsp
Can you provide this info?
Thanks,

[ OPA4192 ] Output Instability from Noise Immunity Test
[ OPA4192 ] Output Instability from Noise Immunity Test
Hi,
My customer is interested in OPA4192 for their industrial board and now trying to perform the noise immunity test.
During this noise test, the output from OPA4192 show a bit different behaviors comparing with another opamp.
Can you help to identify what is the issue on their board and how they would need to change?
Their schematics is as below.
As you can see the waveform below, the output from OPA4192 is ocassionally inverted, while the output from competitor is not.
I have checked some points to customer.
* Output load should NOT be higher than 1nF.
* It's not easy to identify which pin of OPA4192 is affected from this noise.
I did think that the phase reversal protection is included into this device, and good EMIRR help to prevent this kind of issue...
Any ideas, comments and idea of alternative amps are highly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Ken
Instrumentation amplifier ECG sensing with opa2369 50Hz problem.
Hello .
I'm building an ECG amplifier.
I'm working with the OPA2369 because its a very low power consumer.
The power comes from battery and i use floating equipment to measure the output.
It works great on my body , two inputs: one from the chest (sternum) ,the other from the upper side ribs and an RLD below them.
For your knowledge without the RLD every movement of the muscles ruins the signal but with it, it works perfect.
my problem is when i touch my grounded lab table, the signal is lost in a 50Hz sin pick to pick.
I've added some RC filters on the inputs and on the feedback but nothing works!
please advice !?!
