THS4601: About Necessary of bias canceling resistor about circuit likes fig26. on datasheet.

Part Number: THS4601

Hello team.

I'm unable to make a decision.

Do I need to insert resistor(3pin-GND) for canseling bias current(2pin) about curcuit to detect photodiode current(likes fig26) ?

If I need to insert it, How do I estimate the impedance of a photodiode. ( (Vf / If) // capacitance?)

Thank you.

INA193: Spice simulation issue

Part Number: INA193

Hi,

I download INA193 spice model form TI, I am using same TI example, I changed  Input, Load, current sense resistor and Vin voltage as per my requirement.

Vin 28V= sin input, Load is 10A, I observed from 1A to 15A load, Vout is not changing it is just 4.5 V and at 20A it is 8V.

Can you please tell simulation is working or not? I am missing anything to do simulation.

Here i am attaching my simulation zip, In that page 3 for sin input waveform and page1 is TI example.

Dear Sirs,

I want to use a LMC6042 as a pH probe front end differential input buffer amp power from a +/-5V power supply. Is this

IC work with a +/-5V power supply with signal GND connect to 0V,  and -V (pin 4) connect to -5V of the power system ?

Many thanks for your reply.

INA199: output error

Part Number: INA199

Hi team,

My customer is using INA199A1 for their new project.

But the output is not precise.

Here is the operating condition:

1. I=1.5A

2. Rshunt=8 m ohm

3. voltage over Rshunt=12mV

4. The output of INA199A1=560mV

What will cause the unexpected gain error?

Could you provide the solution?

Thanks!

Jamie

THS4130: THS4130 Output Voltage

Part Number: THS4130

Hello team,

My customer have a simple question about THS4130.

He would like to use THS4130 as the following input.
   VCC+ = +5V
   VCC- = -3.5V
   VOCM =  1.3V

He designed like Figure 41. in the datasheet, however the middle voltage of output is not 1.3V.  He saw 0.9V at the output.
Is it correct behavior?  If not, I will ask the customer to provide with schematics.
Are there any limitation when VCC+=5V and VCC-=-3.5V?

Would you please advise me?

Best Regards,
Akihisa Tamazaki

WEBENCH® Tools/LM324: TINA LM324 noise problem

Part Number: LM324

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I used TINA to simulate the noise of the LM324. The circuit diagram and noise waveform are shown below:

This is different from the noise waveform I usually see. If I use other op amps like TLV9062, the waveform will become normal.

The TLV9062 noise waveform are shown below:

Is the internal structure of LM324 causing this difference? Can you explain it to me?

THS4151: Filter component selection guidance

Part Number: THS4151

hi,

we are designing the amplier for the voltage measurement circuit. AMC1300 is used as isolation amplifier for voltage measurement. Its output is given to THS4131.

we are facing noise in the amplifier output and the noise signals are in the range of +/-12V. we are guessing that these noise are added into the circuit due to THS4131.

we are trying to add the low pass butterworth filter at the amplifier output as shown in the circtuit below.

Input voltage to AMC1300 : 75mV

Output voltage from AMC1300 : 615mV

R1 : 402 Ohm

R2 : 4020 Ohm

gain : 10

signal frequency : 15kHz

we ignored the filter components R3, C1,C2, R4 and C3.  we are facing +/-10V noise signal in our output.

Please guide us to select the values for R3, C1, C2, R4 and C3.

Thanking you.

Thanks & regards,

Rajasekaran.

OPA197: Input offset voltage spec. (max.) from 0 to 85 deg.C at Vs = +/-18V

Part Number: OPA197

Hello,

OPA197 datasheet only appears to specify input offset voltage (Vos) at 25deg.C.

Please advise Vos spec. between 0deg.C to 85deg.C as well as at -20deg.C for operation at Vs = +/-18V across the entire common mode voltage range.

Does Vos increase or decrease with temperature?

Hello,

I am using TINA-TI for simulating my circuit and have a question regarding the OPA858 model.

Does the model include the inut capacitance or do I have to include it in my circuit using an additional capacitor?

Thank you in advance,

Sonja

Hi TI,

I am using TLV1702AIDGK in my design. The design is intended for current and voltage measurement. And I use this chip for over voltage/over current protection.

Unfortunately it is out of stock. What do you recommend for replacement which has a low response time.

Thanks

INA228: Over current monitoring

Part Number: INA228
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA233

Hi team,

Our customer is using the INA233 to monitor overcurrent and send an alert to the system whenever it occurs. Since there is no stock available, they're considering the INA228. It seems that this chip does monitoring for over/under voltage, over/under power, and over temperature limits. If they want to continue monitoring of overcurrent, is it possible to just set the INA228 to alert on overpower given that they will have a stable and constant voltage from the power supply? Can they just set the Power Limit Pmax = V * Imax, where V is the constant shunt voltage and Imax is the desired "overcurrent" limit? If so, are equations 3 & 5 from page 31 be used to calculate the triggered Imax value as: Imax = V/Power Register value?

Thank you in advance for the clarifications.

Regards,
Carlo

Hi, support team

My customer has the questions as follow:

I am looking for an opamp which has high input bandwidth
used with a gas sensor, which has 60nA to 0.2mA output current
need to scale to 0v to 3.3v
Would you please recommend any parts?

and we are trying to make transimpedance amp for the same
but input bandwidth is more for my application

Thanks so much.

TLV2462: common-mode voltage range

Part Number: TLV2462
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9062

Hi Team,

I would like to ask about common-mode voltage range of TLV2462.
The datasheet shows common-mode voltage range in Recommended operating conditions as the following.

On the other hand, TLV9062 datasheet shows common-mode voltage range in Electrical Characteristics.

Is it okay to think that both have the same meaning?
If the answer is no, I would like to know common-mode voltage range of Electrical Characteristics for TLV2462.

OPA145: Input current too high, circuit config need advise

$

Part Number: OPA145
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Hi Experts,

Good day. We have this case from client where they found out that the input current of OPA145 is very high when simulated thru PSpice.

See their full input query below:

"The input current to this op amp in the below circuit is nearly equal to the source current--this shouldn't be the case given that the input impedance is 10^13 ohms. Is the model bad? I am using the texas instruments op-amp library in PSpice(with attachments)"

I would like to ask your confirmation on this as we've no PSpice tool on our current engagement to support this query. Based on his circuit, it seems that he wanted to configure an AC integrator op-amp. But because he directly connected the AC signal to inverting input, it looks like they are virtually connected with grounded non-inverting pins.

Any thoughts and confirmation on this?

Regards,
Archie A.
