LMP8481: LMP8481 temperature drift on 1 in a 100

Part Number:LMP8481

I have a design where i use the LMP8481 to sense a DC current. I made a 1000 boards and 10 of them have an issue where the output voltage at no current drifts as I increase the temperature with a heat gun.

I have check if it was the reference voltage that was drifting but that seemed to be stable on both the good boards and the bad board.

Also when i replace the LMP8481 the problem seems to resolve.

Is this expected or predicted behavior?

TLV376: Do you have any data of "Voltage output swing from rail" parameter under full temperature range?

Part Number:TLV376

 Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using TLV376 for their next products.

They want to get TLV electric characteristics about "Voltage output swing from rail" parameter under full temperature range.

On page 7 of TLV376 datashieet, the parameter is defined for 25C degree celsius only.

For example, the parameter is defined for full temperature range (-40C~+125C) in OPA376 datasheet.

The customer want to get the data like the above.

Do you have any data of "Voltage output swing from rail" parameter under full temperature range?

Could you please give me your reply?

 It would be much appreciated.

 Best regards,

 Kazuya Nakai.

OPA188: Instability of OPA188

Part Number:OPA188

We have been using the OPA188 in a number of new development and pre-production projects. We have obtained the OPA188 from three different sources and they all have the same major problem. They are unstable and very noisy. When replaced with the OPA187, the problem is not present. When replaced with any other amplifier, the problem is not present. Does TI have a problem with the OPA188? This device has a very high specification and we would very much like to use it, but we have had to remove this from all products until the problem is solved. Please let me know that there is hope of this very high specification device. All the devices we have obtained from three different sources have the same problem. With kind regards, Ernest (Moorey)

VCA824: Why did the Gain change so 'linear'?

Part Number:VCA824

Hi everyone,

I followed the figure in datasheet of VCA824 to test the chip.

In my circuit R1 = R2 = 20 Ω, Rg = Rf = 1 kΩ.(I also wondered why R1 and R2 are not 50 Ω)

I set the Vg = -1V, 0V or ±0.9V and input a sine signal which frequency is changing between 40Mhz and 220Mhz

I powered the circuit with ±5V.

We can see that the gain in 40Mhz is about 5dB bigger than in 220Mhz and the change is linear. The character is not related to the amplitude of signal or the Vg we set.

I think the GBW of VCA824 does not cause this and I don't want the gain of chip change.

If anyone can tell me the reason of this character?

Thanks

Wong Ju

INA821: small signal response close to maximum frequency

Part Number:INA821

I plan to use the INA821 with a gain of 10 up to a frequency of 1MHz.

According to the Gain vs Frequency plot [Figure 21] I'd get a small dampening but not more.

On the other hand, a large Signal with 1MHz will be almost nonexistent at the output according to Figure 40.

In what manner will a for example 100mV signal be affected?

Kind regards

Hello,

My customer needs to know if the absolute value reported in the ds (300mV) (PAGE 2 PARAGRAPH 6) for Differential Input Voltage can be greater or not.

Customer realized that under certain conditions of use this value is exceeded, reaching 2V.

Many Thanks,

Antonio

Hello,

i have question related to the OPA857 functioning, i want to know how the voltage swing is set to 0.6V to 1.9V.

because the input to the OPA857 is a current source.

can i  know how the input current is changing into the output voltage swing . are there any calculation or any formula for the conversion

thank you

LM2903-Q1: negative input voltage, max current

Part Number:LM2903-Q1

Hi,

on the LM2903-Q1, there is no max input current specified.

(the non-Q100 has a max of -50mA in the data sheet)

What is the max input current for negative input voltage?

Thank you

Cristian

LM6132: Will rail-to-rail works to an asymmetric power supply of 12V and -5V ?

Part Number:LM6132

I'm loking for an rail-to-rail OPAMP to my project. I need a OPAMP that fed by a 12V and a -5V power supplies can generate an output voltage near these values, at least, near the positive 12V, the value of the negative source is not needed to be reached at the output.

I found the  LM6132, and I read at its datasheet that  it has a wide supply range of 2.7 V to over 24 V. But, at the same time, it says "for 5V Supply, Typ Unless Noted" and "Rail-to-Rail Output Swing 0.01V to 4.99V".

So, I would like to know if it can be fed by an asymmetric power supply and if, with a asymmetric power, it can reach the positve VDD of 12V at its output.

I use the same circuit as figure, just change TLV3201 to LM393. The problem is when I input a sine wave between VH and VL, the Multisim simulate output result is a square wave. Shouldn't it be a low level signal?

Hello,

I'm looking for a solution to the following problem. I have the output of a DAC that I need to boost up to 32 Volts. the output of the DAC is 0-2. However there will be a modulated signal on the transmission. Therefore I need a high slew rate (300V/us min) and high frequency, preferably around 20 Mhz. Can someone help me with a solution to this?

thank you,

LMP8640: About Minimum Output voltage

Part Number:LMP8640

Hi Team,

We have two questions.

-----------

[Q1]

We are evaluating LMP8640HV-H (H version).

Then, VOUT is around 75mV to 150mV when 3pin and 4pin are shorted (VCM=0V).

Is this behavior right?

<Result>

Unit1:75mV

Unit2:100mV

Unit3:150mV

We understand that the minimum Output voltage of LMP8640HV-H (H version) is 80mV(MAX) at VCM=2.1V.

Therefore, we would like to know whether VOUT=150mV at VCM=0V is right.

And, could you please let us know minimum Output voltage(MAX) at VCM=0V if you have any information?

-----------

[Q2]

We understand that Figure14 is Characteristic graph of LMP8640HV-T (T version).

Is my understanding correct?

If yes, could you please let us know Characteristic graph of LMP8640HV-H (H version) if you have any information?

TLV1702-Q1: How to handle the pins of unused channel

$

Part Number:TLV1702-Q1

Hi team,

When using only 1 channel out of 2 channels, how should I handle the unused 1 channel pins?

We are thinking the method that we will tie In+ to Vdd and In- tie to GND. The output terminal is open.

As we do not want to increase parts, we will connect directly without using each resistor.

Is there any problem with this method?

Please let me know if there are other recommendations.

TLE2064BM: Abnormal current of TLE2064

$

Part Number:TLE2064BM

I am using TLE2064 in my design. We find a strange issue during the test. When TLE2064 is working as a comparator (shown in the schematic, i.e. non-inverting input is connected to GND and inverting input is connected to an input, and there is no load on the output). When the input increases from 0V to +0.6V, the current of +12V and -12V power supply increases with the amplitude, and the maximum is 8mA. But when the input decreases from 0V to-0.6V, the current of +12V and -12V power supply remains unchanged.

It seems there is some current flow inside TLE2064 from +12V to -12V when the input is from 0V to +0.6V. Is this because of the internal characteristic of TLE2064?
