Hi,
I’ve been working on a design using the INA333 and it seems to work, but I’m worried about that the design may be out of spec.
In the datasheet section 8.2.2.9 there is a line stating
“With single-supply operation, VIN+ and VIN– must both be 0.1 V more than ground for linear operation.”
However, the device seems to work with the VIN- connected to ground.
The device is used exactly as in your “Leakage Current Measurement Reference Design for Determining Insulation Resistance”. included in this post.
The device is basically used as an impedance buffer.
Can this device be used like this, it seems to work with the 10 samples we have manufactured?
Is it only the linearity that is affected or can something else happen?
Can we get into future problems when ordering other batches of the component?
