THS3491: Determining THS3491 Gain/phase margin

Hi i see on your THS3491 datasheet you have recommended values at different gain settings for Rf for optimal gain/phase margin. My question are these values entirely based on simulation or do you measure them on the bench ? Either way how do you actually come up with these values and could you possibly share your method ? Thanks
