Hello,
I am a hobbyist interested in the LMP7300"Micropower Precision Comparator and Precision Reference With Adjustable Hysteresis" or schmitt-trigger comparator with an analog input to control an N-Type power mosfet to control LEDs.
From the datasheet example applications I see the amount of hysteresis used is small (in the mV range) compared to my need, whereas I would like several volts of hysteresis on a 0-5V analog input. I think the datasheet indicates this is possible but I am concerned because the application examples show much less hysteresis. Is it possible to make the set points HYSTN & HYSTP any voltage within the input voltage range? Will it function correctly?
Thanks,
Stephen
