Hi,
I am designing inverting AMP using OPA2188AIDK. (Please visit the site to view this file)
I am planning to supply it with 12V power supply with rise time 600us while the input signal voltage Max 2.5V with slew rate 25us. To my knowledge, it is not good to put voltage to input-pin of Op amp first when the op Amp doesn't wake up. My question is
1. Is it a protection inside the OPA2188 so even if the input signal comes before the supply signal it is not broken?. I think there is no timing problem as long as I put resistor to limit the current input to Op Amp (in case OPA2188 the Max. Absolute value is 10mA). Is it correct?. If the answer is yes, I think I needn't think about all of this timing sequence anymore.
2. If the answer of no.1 is No, then it means I need a power sequence circuit. Does anyone has a suggested circuit?. I was thinking to use the combination of reset IC (such as TL7712A)and Nch MOSFET, but unfortunately, the TL7712A has an undefined output region when VCC below 3.6V. I need a low power (dissipation current below 10mA) reset IC though.
