LM2903 - Vicr

Hi all,

Would you mind if we ask LM2903 Vicr discription/note(3) on the datasheet P6?

Compared with LM2901, there is the difference between LM2901 and LM2903 as following.
We guess that both datasheets show the same content, so does it mean the same?

<LM2903>
The voltage at either input or common-mode should not be allowed to go negative by more than 0.3 V.
The upper end of the common-mode voltage range is VCC+ – 1.5 V, but either or both inputs can go to 30 V (32 V for V-suffix devices) without damage.

<LM2901>
The voltage at either input or common-mode should not be allowed to go negative by more than 0.3 V.
The upper end of the common-mode voltage range is VCC+ – 1.5 V; however, one input can exceed VCC, and the comparator will provide a proper output state as long
as the other input remains in the common-mode range. Either or both inputs can go to VCC MAX without damage.

Kind regards,

Hirotaka Matsumoto
